ARP International specialise in supplying power to remote areas not connected to the national grid ranging in size from 15kW – 5mW. With large swathes of Africa currently ‘off-grid’ ARP International believes that the best way to increase electrification rates is to provide low cost renewable and hybrid energy solutions that can impact individuals, villages and towns directly. Even in ‘on-grid’ locations access to electricity can be irregular and as such ARP International offer their unique solutions across all regions.
ARP International are developing utility scale (5-25+mW) solar PV and Wind power plants that connect directly into a grid network thus offering governments the opportunity to benefit from reliable, low cost energy and relieve pressure on what are for the most part extremely congested girds. Similarly to the UK market this option takes the form of a large scale private investment from ARP International and its network in return for a government backed ‘Feed-in-Tariff’ guaranteed for at least 20 years.
